Success in the field of education can only be achieved with the help of good media. The MedienLB concept is based on the belief that media should only be made by practicians for practicians, and not by persons in authority that have never actively taught a single lesson.
That is why the scripts are made by educators that are well-versed in classroom management and, as people directly affected, have a keen eye for the actual demands on up-to-date lessons. As the best script, however, is of no avail when the implementation is poor, MedienLB strictly relies on in-house production of every film in order to ensure that the quality meets the highest requirements. The transformation into film is closely monitored by the watchful eye of Axel Schramm, whose reputation and professional expertise have been well-known for years.
As examples of our external cooperation partners are to be mentioned here, besides many others, the outstanding nature filmmaker Karl-Heinz Baumann, Markus Frenzl and Dietmar Nill as well as the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, the Egyptian Museums in Berlin and Munich, the Austrian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, the police headquarters of Munich and MAPA. MedienLB products are not available in the trade but only from distribution services for teachers, the so-called media centres, or educational film hire services respectively of the municipal institutions concerned, for MedienLB sees its role as that of a service provider to the institutions mentioned above.
